Here Our Mindset Exists, a collection of watercolor-based mixed media works depicting different types of residences, calls its viewers to reflect on the meaning of home beyond the physical nature. While each piece addresses different aspects of the human experience, the series is connected through the same overarching message— Although we cannot control our place of origin, we hold the ability to change our ultimate home: our mindset. Through a balance of letting go, holding on, reflecting on the past, and contemplating the future, we have the ability to be truly present. And through this presence, we can continue to construct our home.
